Why aren’t we living a healthy lifestyle?
When we were younger, this is what we saw ourselves doing.
But then life just seems to flow by, and now we’re 30..35..40 and now that vision has become something to achieve “someday”.
We still want it. Healthier eating. More confidence. Better mood and sense of balance.
But if we had to point to what we’ve actually done about it in the past 30 days, we wouldn’t have much to say.
It’s not like we haven’t had our good times. Every once in awhile you get on a roll. Things come together. Motivation kicks in and we are on track to a healthy lifestyle.
But it always fizzles out.
Life gets in the way - holidays, work trips, long days at the office, mommy duties - that take up all your time.
Other times it’s motivation. It just goes away and you don’t know why.
Cheat days come and stay, and everyday you’re thinking, I’ll get back on track tomorrow. But tomorrow never comes and you’re back to square one.
